Happy Birthday Callie!

yes, this is as messy as she got. Sad, isn't it?

This Saturday was Callie's birthday! My entire family happened to be in town because it was also my grandma's funeral on Saturday. I was very excited to have everyone here to celebrate Callie's big day! On Sunday we had a party for her. The poor kid was so tired and overwhelmed by everyone there (there were 12 adults and 11 kids in one house... it got a little loud. You get a good feel for what it was like on the video) that she wasn't very happy most of the time. Needless to say we didn't get very many fun pictures. :( But Callie was completely spoiled! She got so many fun toys and clothes, it was better than Christmas! Now that we are back at home, she loves her new toys and can never seem to decide what she wants to play with. The video is of her attempting to eat her cake... she was so BORING! I thought for sure she would dig right in, but she just sat and poked at it. Apparently we have a dainty little girl. Today we went to the doctor for her checkup.
Unfortunately, Callie was really cranky again but she is in good health!

Height: 28 and 3/4 in.
Weight: 21 lbs. 2 oz.
We also got the go ahead for starting milk and a forward facing car seat! woohoo! Callie has already tried to get out of her carrier while we were driving so she will be excited for that. It has been a fun year and we're excited for another one with lots of memories!

  3. I know what you mean about her being cranky... my neice and nephew act the same way at their parties :). I guess it's a kid thing, but they're still super cute! Congrats on all the fun presents AND on 1 complete year without getting pregnant again! ;)
